The work of natural medicine facilitation is a journey of continual learning, reflection, and growth. NeuroAlchemy's Services Shop offers opportunities for Natural Medicine Facilitators-in-Training to deepen their skills, build confidence, and fulfill consultation requirements through meaningful, experiential learning. Whether you're joining our Group Journey Shadowing experience or investing in ongoing professional development through our 10-Group Consultation Package, each offering is designed to support you in becoming a more grounded, ethical, and attuned facilitator. Because the best facilitators never stop being learners.
Shadowing at NeuroAlchemy offers Natural Medicine Facilitators in Training (NMITs) the opportunity to actively support an Althea’s Pick group alongside experienced facilitators. Through involvement in preparation, administration, and integration, trainees gain firsthand experience with the full arc of a group psilocybin experience while helping make this work more accessible to our community.
Trainees support the practical and relational aspects of running a group while learning from the judgment, pacing, and attunement of experienced facilitators. This includes attending to individual needs within a shared space, navigating group dynamics, and cultivating a grounded presence as experiences unfold. Ethical boundaries, clear roles, and collaborative care remain central throughout.
Following the session, a debrief creates space to ask questions, reflect on observations and experiences, and bring those lessons into the trainee’s own facilitation practice. This hands-on learning connects theory with the nuance of supporting real people—and offers an opportunity to build confidence while contributing to accessible care.
At NeuroAlchemy, we support practitioners who are stepping into the sacred work of natural-medicine facilitation.Our training and consultation offerings meet Colorado’s DORA requirements for Natural Medicine Consultation, and are designed for those called to provide ethical, trauma-informed psychedelic services in the state.
After completing the didactic and practicum components, learners become eligible to apply for the Training License—a gateway that allows practitioners to legally begin offering psychedelic-assisted services as part of their professional practice.
DORA requires 40 hours of consultation within two years of receiving the Training License. NeuroAlchemy’s consultation pathway is intentionally crafted to fulfill these requirements while also guiding practitioners into deeper skill, confidence, and attunement. We see consultation not simply as oversight, but as a space of refinement, safety, and integrity—a place to sharpen your presence and deepen your relational capacity.
